Did you know Pyle met Crane once? It happened in the spring of 1892 during Crane's tour of the US. He talks about it in his memoirs:<br /><br />"My collection was shown at the Arts Club [in Philadelphia], a tasteful building designed by a young English architect, a pupil, I believe, of Mr. Bodley's; a dinner was given there in my honour and to inaugurate the opening.
